Title of the paper: «How weak is the EU?»
Abstract: In this paper I have tried to get and give an overview of the weakness of the EU when the economy is weak.
In the introduction I have given an example of the weakness of the EU and what are the most immediate consequences. Secondly, I have gone through some history of the EU based in an interesting article on The Spiegel and others “How a Good Idea Became a Tragedy”. Then I talk about what are the major problems which are facing the EU right now Problems, problems, problems… The third part is the biggest in the paper in which we have set up the crisis as a board game, where there are four players playing a dangerous game; some have lost almost everything and the others have become richer, whether they knew the rules or not, everyone wanted to play. In the fourth part, we have tried to take a glimpse of the future looking at the recent events in the important EU meeting of December 9th A New Era for Europe. Finally, I have summarized all the points and I have given a conclusion based in all the web-sites and research I have done.
Auto-evaluation:
I have tried not to make many mistakes in grammar and in the structure of the sentences. I have also tried to think about this paper as it is a road where I must follow the signals if I wanted to get my goal. I have read in English much more in these four months than in my entire life and I have made an incredible effort to understand everything and to get what I want. Finally, in these months I have learnt how to use the internet for research, how to differentiate the sources, how to make a blog and consider and value the others’ work and opinions over mine
